Company Profile

Meiji Yasuda Institute of Life and Wellness (MYILW) was founded in July 1991 in conjunction with the celebration of the 110th anniversary of Meiji Life Insurance Company. For more Than 20 years, MYILW has committed itself to undertaking research activities that contribute to the enhancement of social welfare and innovation in people's lifestyles. It is our sincere aim to enable all citizens of Japan to enjoy a healthy, fruitful life.

Japan now faces the issue of a super-aging society due to a rapidly aging population and the declining birth rate. We believe that this is a serious situation that needs to be addressed promptly. This situation also urges us, individual citizens, to find our own raison d’etre and ways to lead a happy, fulfilling life.

Amid such a social context, the Institute, upholding the aim of fulfilling the needs of its customers, has actively conducted survey research as a unique institute dedicated mainly to the following: surveys and analyses in the fields of elderly and nursing care, medical policies and medical management, health and medical care, welfare (disabilities, child rearing, etc.), life planning, lifestyle awareness, and corporate benefit programs.

The Institute intends to further promote its unique research activities as a member of the Meiji Yasuda Life Group by leveraging the know-how accumulated through the Group's life insurance business and thereby contributes to the solution to social issues and the development of better life plans.

We would like to ask for your continued guidance and support in the years ahead.
